This is a nice retro style and works even better if you work a retro wardrobe to go with it. I took a section of hair at the front and did a twist and tuck to achieve the high quiff look. This can be achieved with pins if the hair is not long enough, just fold the hairback on itself and pin or clip down. You can pull out a few strands or just one and create some front bangs. Just take some styling gel and run it through the left out strand/s to create a lovely curl. Tie the rest of the fro into a puff at the back. Once again do this the night before and tie a scarf around it for a nice neat finish. As with all up do's, don't forget to add a set of earrings to complete the look.
